TESTIMONIALS:

"Battlefield: Home – Breaking The Silence” is a must-see for those interested in educating themselves on the challenges faced by veterans (and their families) when returning home and reintegrating into civilian society.  It delves beyond the rote statistics.  It is humbling and honest, given in the veterans’ own words.  It should be required viewing for all.”

  • Tim NesSmith, Ship Superintendent / Educational Outreach Coordinator, USS KIDD Veterans Museum

"Authentic and raw, "Battlefield: Home" masterfully articulates and drives home the deeper issue of "why" the PTS issue has perpetuated itself in restricting the successes of our service members and their loved ones who attempt to transition back into our communities. All of our transitioning programs fail to address the more pressing and timely issue with the cultural shift from a structured, socialist military lifestyle back into the civilian sector where identity and purpose fall well short of expectation. Failure to preventatively generate workable solutions will leave our nation with exponential consequences both in human and social capital for those left behind. This film will change the way you look at veterans and their families. Highest recommendations."

  • Maj Michael S. McDowell, USMC (ret.)The Valor Club

"From the eyes and minds of family members and veterans themselves, Battlefield: Home provides a candid and unvarnished perspective on the often- invisible wounds of war, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Battlefield: Home offers some meaningful explanation for the debilitating symptoms carried by the wounded warriors, and, as our knowledge about these conditions grows, also offers hope for treatment, prevention and the potential for resiliency and recovery."

  • Christopher Giza, MD Professor of Pediatric Neurology & Neurosurgery UCLA Brain Injury Research Center & Director—UCLA BrainSPORT: Sports Concussion–Mild TBI Program
