On October 28, 2021, in honor of NATIONAL FIRST RESPONDERS DAY, Can Man Productions presents the story of an historic time in the FDNY, profoundly impacted by a man often referred to as "The Father of the Fire Department."

William Feehan was the oldest and highest ranking member of the FDNY killed on 9/11 and the only firefighter to hold every rank in its history. His story embodies the legacy of those on the job and the commitment to serve that all first responders bring to their work.

In honor of Chief Feehan's legacy which sought to modernize and preserve the efficacy of the FDNY, fundraising to digitize the contents of the George F. Mand Library at the FDNY Bureau of Training on Randall's Island has been launched.
