“Hearts of Glass” follows the tumultuous first the critical first 15 months of operation of Vertical Harvest (VH), a startup hydroponic greenhouse whose staff includes workers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The film weaves the story of Vertical Harvest’s launch with the personal journeys of employees. People and plants grow together in this intimate portrait of innovation, inclusion and impact.
You may watch the film at your convenience here on Show&Tell from March 23rd through March 29, 2022. "Hearts of Glass" has descriptive audio in English and closed captions in English and Spanish. If you'd also like to join the panel discussion remotely, please register under the "Q&A" link on Show&Tell. The discussion will be on March 26, Saturday at 6:15 pm PT.
For those interested, there is also an in-person option on March 26th at the Bankhead Theatre in Livermore, California. This event will feature the film as well the live panel discussion with Q&A.
