Across four continents and both hemispheres, an unlikely band of women come together to expose shocking facts behind the legal torture and slaughter of endangered species driven by one group’s lust to encourage killing for pride, pleasure and profit all while under the guise of conservation.
We have an incredible cast and crew, and this film is the final project ever for both Cliff Simon and legendary Tippi Hedren (Roar Foundation), matriarch of cinema dynasty Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson. Music is by the incredible South African Mzansi Youth Choir and Mauritz Lotz and of course we can't forget Her Majesty The Queen, or the iconic Priscilla Presley.

- London - Sir Roger Gale MP (parliamentary veteran of 37 years, President of the Conservation Group on Animal Welfare and who spearheaded the ban on fox hunting)
- Washington DC - John Thompson (recipient of the 2019 Albert Schweitzer Award and spearheaded tracking animal cruelty in the federal criminal database, introduction into law and it becoming a federal felony)
- South Africa - Pippa Hankinson (producer of “Blood Lions”)
- Australia - Donalea Patman (who drove the ban on trophy hunting imports into Australia)

Director and Producer, Emmy® Nominated James Ganiere is a Producers Guild of America and TV Academy member, and Alumni of USC School of Cinema, a TEDx speaker. Founder and president of Rio Vista Universal, he focuses on projects with heart having to do with animals, children or family and works with kids in after school programs When he is not creating worlds, he’s impacting them, from GEAR HEADS on DISCOVERY to REKINDLING CHRISTMAS, and now LAND OF THE FREE: IN THE SHADOWS.
Writer and Producer Lynn Santer is a force to be reckoned with, who came from an international, high-powered, jet-setting career in the world of high finance, and was consultant to committees in London’s House of Commons, Ten Downing Street, and across the European Union. In 2001 Lynn began a crusade now known as Land of the Free with the then Chief Inspector of the Zimbabwe SPCA, Meryl Harrison, and ex Special Forces commandos to uncover evidence of ongoing, legal, brutal atrocities against endangered big game by some of the most powerful people on earth.
