Thank you for honoring veterans by attending this special pre-release screening of LOVE AFTER WAR. A complimentary ticket will be provided to a wounded warrior that is registered with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) for every view through Veterans Day.

This feature-length documentary delves deep into the intimate lives of injured veterans and their partners. It is a story of patriotism, courage, sacrifice, true love, physical and emotional pain, altruism, coming home, and sexual healing. The accounts of their journeys illustrate how each veteran profiled in the film faces the challenges of returning home with a disability and musters up the courage and fortitude above and beyond what was needed for war to restore their sexuality and rebuild their romantic partnerships.

The filmmakers are honored to dedicate this screening to all wounded warriors, we thank them for their service and sacrifice.

Statement by Wounded Warrior Project CEO, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mike Linnington:

This documentary features the stories of several wounded warriors that Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) currently serves. When thinking of the effects of war on those wounded in action, both visible and invisible, most think of blast injuries, gunshot wounds, physical injuries, TBI (traumatic brain injury), and PTSD. There are other injuries (not often discussed) that can have devastating effects on a wounded warrior’s intimate relationships. I applaud the filmmakers for shedding light on this sensitive, yet highly relevant, subject. Those who have served our nation have sacrificed so much to protect our country and our way of life as Americans. This film highlights the hope that lies beyond the visible and invisible wounds of war.

All of us at WWP thank you for this support.
