About

Welcome, Washougal School District and surrounding communities! We're excited to share an award-winning story of inclusion, innovation and impact with you.

Hearts of Glass shows the journey of a new business, Vertical Harvest (VH). VH is a state-of-the-art greenhouse in Jackson, Wyoming. VH provides meaningful employment for people with disabilities. The film describes how VH began. It shares the stories of employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Plants and people grow as one while supporting inclusion for people with disabilities.

The film is being presented with descriptive audio and closed captioning (English and Spanish).

You can stream the film at your convenience from June 2-12. Don't forget to join us for the panel discussion at 4 pm PT on June 9 via this link. So, watch Hearts of Glass and be a part of the conversation! Please click on this link 5 minutes before the panel starts on June 9th at 4 pm PT.
